We installed these beautiful marble worktops for customers in Tregony near Truro.
Our customers choose a marble called Arabescato Vagli, which is from Italy.
The marble is predominantly milky white with dark grey veins.
And after a lot of deliberation the customers choose to have book match slabs.
As the slabs of marble are cut from the block, like cutting a loaf of bread, every alternate slab is polished on the opposite side.
This technique offers the ability to create a mirror effect when joining two pieces together.
And as you can see from the images above & below, it looks stunning.
On this project we also manufactured a marble preparation sink for the island.

The marble worktops wrapped around a large range cooker.
Where we also installed a tall shelf & upstand.
An L-shaped worktop contains a stainless steel sink & tap.
As you can see, we have changed the stone type around the cooker and sink, to Carrara marble.
With full height marble splash backs.
Additional cabinetry in the kitchen had Carrara marble worktops tops too.
And we even installed a granite worktop on a butlers station which was located next door to the kitchen.
So there you have it, another installation completed!
All marble needs to be sealed so that it is protected from staining.
So we apply the sealer in the factory.
We are certified applicators and stockists of Dry Treat Stain Proof.
Which is a micro porous sealant for natural stone.
You can view all the necessary information on Dry Treats website here www.drytreat.com
Marble worktops are easy to clean, and using hot soapy water is sufficient most of the time.
But if you want to clean your worktop with a cleaning product, then it’s best to use a Ph neutral product.
And we recommend using Hanafin Rejuvenata, which we also keep in stock.
