Natural stone wall cladding is becoming a more popular choice due to the cost savings and ease of installation, compared to your standard quarried walling stone.
We supplied and installed this natural stone wall cladding on a project in Crantock near Newquay in Cornwall.
The natural stone used on this wall cladding panel is slate, and it’s what most people would call rustic slate.
We have other colours of slate available including grey.
Our customers on this project decided to use the ‘Multi’ option, which doesn’t have quoins.
Instead the ends of the stone panels are finished, which enables you to create a corner using two panels. The effect looks really natural.
Rustic slate is adhered to the heads of the window & door openings for a more aesthetic look.
The speed of installing this natural stone wall cladding system is by far the greatest asset.
If you want speed of build, and don’t want to hang around waiting for the stone masons more traditional method, then this system is perfect.
Quicker build time = less scaffolding hire costs.
And dismantling that scaffolding quicker means the ground workers & landscapers can get around the house much sooner.
This system will also save you loads of space on site compared to the traditional walling stone.
The wastage element is also massively reduced. Again saving time and & money.
We offer many different types of natural stone wall cladding.
And have over 20 of them on display down at our premises in Par near St Austell in Cornwall.
As well as the ‘Multi’ option that you saw in the photo’s of the Crantock project above.
We also offer a quoin system too, which is called ‘Standard’.
And really sets the system off to a whole new level of quality.
Our stone wall cladding systems have been rigorously tested under guidance from the LABC & NHBC.
Enabling their 10 years house building association warranty to be applied.
Our system has a manufacturer’s guarantee of 25 years to block/brick-work & 15 years to our specially formulated cementitious building board, providing the products are used in their entirety & installed correctly.
