We have recently supplied and installed a cladding system that looks like Cornish Stone Wall Cladding.

The new Costa Coffee in Liskeard had this stone wall cladding system on all four sides of the building.
This cladding system comes with prefabricated Corners.
Making life on site much quicker, and the finish is superior than other systems.

Our first day on site always starts off with the installation of battens at the bottom of the wall.

Then we can set out and start installing the panels.

You can see vertical expansion joints within the block walls, so we follow these when installing the panels.

The speed of installing this natural stone wall cladding system is by far the greatest asset.
It’s a real simple system to learn how to install. First you comb a bed of adhesive onto the block walls.

Then you back butter the rear of the panel, and insert the stainless steel clip into it’s recess.

Then you place the panel onto the wall.

Pushing and wiggling it from side to side to make sure the adhesive on the panel has full contact with the adhesive on the wall.

Using a rubber mallet you then tap the panel home until it’s bed into position.

The final job is to pre-drill a hole.

Insert a plug and then screw the fixing clip to the wall using a drill.

If you want speed of build, and don’t want to hang around waiting for the stone masons more traditional method, then this system is perfect.

Quicker build time = less scaffolding hire costs.

And dismantling that scaffolding quicker means the ground workers & landscapers can get around the house much sooner.

This system will also save you loads of space on site compared to the traditional walling stone.

The wastage element is also massively reduced. Again saving time and & money.

Natural stone wall cladding is becoming a more popular choice.

This is down to the cost savings and ease of installation, compared to your standard quarried walling stone.

So there we are, another project completed.

And this colour of Cornish stone wall cladding goes really well with the powder coated aluminium used on the roof.

And down pipe & louvred doors.

We offer many different types of natural stone wall cladding.
And have over 20 of them on display down at our premises in Par near St Austell in Cornwall.

Our stone wall cladding systems have been rigorously tested under guidance from the LABC & NHBC.
Enabling their 10 years house building association warranty to be applied.
Our system has a manufacturer’s guarantee of 25 years to block/brick-work & 15 years to our specially formulated cementitious building board, providing the products are used in their entirety & installed correctly.
