Once you have made contact with us at Everything Stone & Glass we will discuss your proposed project with you accessing any information that we require. We always invite potential customers into our showroom so that we can discuss all the relevant work surfaces details, after all you may want to choose your stone and discuss the items of fabrication in more detail.

Quotation

We require certain information from you so that we can provide you with a detailed quotation, this information includes:

• Drawing/sketch showing the layout and dimensions of work tops
• Preferred Stone type
• Items of fabrication
• Location of project
• Site access

With this information we can provide you with your quotation within 24 hours.
We often carry out site survey's which we do free of charge so if you would like us to call out and meet you at your house or job then please feel free to request a site survey.

Pre-template check list

Once you have confirmed your work surfaces quotation we will then forward you our pre-template check list. This is normally handed to the kitchen fitter and is basically used to check that the units, sinks etc are all correct before we come on site to template.

Day of template

Upon the day of template the person in charge of the project will need to be present so that he/she can sign off the templates. Our fitter will cut the templates to size and shape before fixing them in place, the fitter will then confirm with the person in charge the exact position of the sink & tap hole cut out. The fitter will then use his job sheet ticking off each item of fabrication, stone type and square meterage of stone required. These details sometimes change from when the quotation was provided. Once all the details have been confirmed the person in charge will be required to sign the job sheet, this is known as the template sign off. The pre-template check list & the job sheet are processes that we have introduced to Everything Stone over time in order to remove mistakes being made from template to installation.

Installation day

Upon the day of installation we will deliver your work surfaces, the driver will help the fitters unload and get set up. The fitters will then carry on and install your work surfaces.
Our fitters can help with certain plumbing works if necessary but it is recommended that your plumber is on site when we install the work surfaces.
We will also ask you to sign a job sheet on the day of installation, this is to confirm that you are happy with the work that has been carried out.

We source every type of natural stone product that is required for most building projects through our colleagues who are based in Hong Kong, Shanghai & Xiamen.

Through Computer Aided Design and using the latest cutting & finishing machinery we are able to manufacture all architectural building stone products and finely finish them for a very reasonable cost.

At Everything Stone we project manage every stage of the procurement process from sourcing the correct type of stone, through the design stage followed by the fabrication process and delivery of the products at their final destination.

Quality control is vital for ensuring that these stone products arrive at their final destination on time and as per CAD drawing & specification. We also make sure that our stone products are packed correctly into pallets, covered and loaded into containers properly to ensure that unloading in the UK goes smoothly and ultimately guaranteeing that the products arrive safely.
